On May 6th Donna and Rex Couch, along with their dog, Gracie, returned to Norfolk and the Spring Rendezvous on their boat, BellaBlue, to cross their wake and earn their gold burgee by completing America’s Great Loop.
We arrived one year to the day after cruising 6945 miles, using 8400 gallons of fuel, running 646 engine hours, negotiating 164 locks and staying in over 100 different marinas in three countries. Along the way we had the chance to meet some of the greatest people on Earth – Loopers.
